DESCRIPTION:
Read for the Record Day is organized by Jumpstart as a national campaign addressing educational inequities that leave many children unprepared for kindergarten. Read for the Record Day is a shared reading experience that encourages adults to read to and with their children and seek ways to strengthen the early education system in the United States.
Jumpstart sets each year's day as late as the 2nd quarter of the year.
